Vaginal pressure at 20 weeks???

Just looking for a bit of reassurance really - since about 16weeks, I've been getting intermittent pressure in my vagina. Feels heavy, as if there's something sitting inside or about to 'fall out' (sorry for TMI)
It feels like its worsening as time is going on and although it's not constant, I feel it quite often when I stand for long periods of time. I never had anything like this in my first pregnancy, nor after birth/the two years that have followed.
I plan on asking my midwife at my 24wk appointment but just wondered if anybody had felt similarly?

ME - Awful. (5th pregnancy, never had it with others)

i feel better when ive laid down to take weight off and to tip baby away, its like baby is laid directly on my cervix / bladder / low down. i mentioned it to consultant yesterday and she didnt seem concerned. But its an awful feeling, makes me worry ill go into premature labour. im really trying with pelvic floor exercises to see if that helps.

Sorry, not helpful at all. but your not alone.

Im on baby no.6 im 33wks now a have felt it off & on but as my baby has gotten bigger ive found out that it depends where she is laying or what she is doing in there that i feel it.

Hiya, I have something similar. Been getting the pressure since about 12 weeks (i’m now 27), worse when jogging, feels like I need to clench the whole time in case baby falls out lol!
I mentioned it to the midwife and she was very unconcerned and just said ‘it’s your body changing blah blah, just rest if it gets painful’. But I actually think I have pgp which is a diagnosed condition. You should mention it to midwife in case they can do something :)! Hopefully yours will be more helpful than mine!

Me too have had it on & off from about 12 weeks, I'm now 27 weeks and it's pretty much constant. I find it especially sore bending down, sitting or going for a wee. Any length of time standing is torture

Thanks for your replies ladies. Makes me feel a lot less alone although sorry to hear you guys are suffering with it too!
My first baby was prem so I think it makes me worry this one will be even earlier cos similar to you @bessie84, it feels like baby is just gonna fall out. Which is ridiculous!!
I'll defo mention it to my midwife but I've a feeling she'll brush it off as normal like what has happened with you ladies too!
