I love my pregnancy pillow

I bought my pregnancy pillow several weeks ago and don’t know why I left it in my closet until now. I’m 7 months and loving it. Seriously amazing. I feel so good using it. Slightly annoyed with myself I wasted so many weeks w it left in my closet (was a little lazy after washing the cover to put it on). Anyway, to anyone who is on the fence about getting one (it’s my first time and I’m on my third child - can’t believe what the heck was I thinking not buying one before!!) go for it! I haven’t even discovered all the different positions to use yet! Just thought I would post this in case anyone was thinking to get one or not.

Oooooh I was thinking of getting one this weekend (currently 4 months pregnant with Dc2) which one do you have OP?

Following !

@Mamabear12 which one did you get? There is so much choice!

WonkyDonk87 · 24/09/2019 22:54

Just jumping on because this came up in active threads. I had a long length U shaped pillow and it was the best! Nice and snug inside it, support for your back and pelvis, don't have to move it when you want to turn over, and just push one half off the side of the bed when you need to get out eleven times a night to wee

Mylittlerainbow · 24/09/2019 22:59

How early on did you get one? I’m only 18 weeks and they just look so bloody comfy I might persuade myself I need one now!

Everafter1 · 25/09/2019 00:41

I love mine too!! I actually got two (first one from boots) hated it, so hard and uncomfortable.

Second one is by Pharmedoc. It's amazing. I put my pillow spray on it & snuggle in every night..blissful! I don't know how I'll ever go back to normal pillows post pregnancy.

I got mine in the first trimester I think.

I made a thread about this a week or so ago!

Ended up with a massive U shaped one from amazon and it’s ACE.

I have a big u shaped one as well and love it. I got mine at 12 weeks or something and hate sleeping without it now.

I got the bbhugme - mainly because my sister recommended it and she knows her stuff and does her research. I didn’t want to go through the reviews etc and trust her choice. It’s expensive, but worth it. Wish I had gotten one with my first pregnancy! Ah well. My kids like it too. The only thing I would say negative is they should have provided a pamphlet or more photos of how to use it (different positions to give you ideas of using it for pregnancy and breastfeeding). They do have a YouTube video. That I need to look at . But they should have put images etc.

I only started using it now at 7 months. Got it probably 5/6 months. Annoyed at myself that I didn’t use it straight away! Ah week. Just glad i started using it now.

There's a pamphlet with the Pharmedoc one, I just got into a comfy position straight away & hadn't really looked at it. I've not tried it sitting up yet. I've also found it's good for restless legs.

georgialondon · 25/09/2019 08:28

Pregnancy pillows are the best!

anonnancy · 25/09/2019 09:14

I bloody love my pregnancy pillow. I still don't sleep amazing and find myself awake in the middle of the night for no reason, but I am a lot more comfortable now. Still get aches and pains when I've been lying on one side for too long but nothing like what it was before I invested in a pillow.

NuffingChora · 25/09/2019 09:16

I knew this was going to be about a bbhugme 😂. It’s changed my life. I don’t think I’ll ever stop using it. DH thinking about getting one for himself!

ejmay90 · 25/09/2019 09:32

Has anyone got an suggestions for pillows which aren't really expensive but do the job please?

or any websites which have the expensive ones cheaper?

DoraNora · 25/09/2019 09:45

@NuffingChora me too! Literally clicked on the thread to see if it was a BB HugMe

DD is 9 months old and I'm still using it - great for back pain caused by crawling after a very active baby all day!

Definitely a life-changer
