Could this be a sign that labour is approaching at 34 weeks?

This is my second baby and with my first I had no signs that labour was approaching until my waters broke at 36 weeks and then labour started shortly after. I’m currently 34 weeks and have been losing my mucus plug for a few weeks now but I know it does grow back, however, yesterday every time I wiped there seemed to be some on the tissue all day (some even fell out when I got out the shower) though no blood.
I’ve had so much back pain which has been like a dull ache which radiates around to my tummy and sharp pains in what feels like my cervix. This has been happening for a few days along with the loss of my plug.

I know just because DS came earlier than expected it doesn’t mean this baby will, but I’m a bit more wary about it this time. I’ve felt fine during this pregnancy so the onset of the aches and pains which I know are probably normal has me wondering whether I could be approaching labour. It’s mainly the mucus plug although I remember losing bits in my last pregnancy it wasn’t as much as now (until I was actually in labour). I know it could still be weeks before anything happens but just looking for other people’s experiences.
