Hi all I noticed some pink spotting mixed with mucus when I wiped. It was kind of “tinged” with pink blood. No pain but I have had nausea all weekend which weirdly hasn’t been as bad this evening. What should I do? Wait and see what tomorrow brings? Or do I ring my doctor in the morning? It was only a little bit I don’t want to panic I’m just so unsure what to do. This is my first pregnancy. I don’t see a midwife til 7th October.

I had similar with my eldest dd at around 6 weeks, lasted a few days then stopped. Apparently it can happen and is known as implantation bleeding, caused by the embryo implanting into the womb I think. I rang the midwife in a bit of a panic but she didn't seem overly concerned and said it was too early for a scan. Do you have a 24 hour number you can ring? Ours was a direct line to the early pregnancy unit. Hope it works out ok.

This might be helpful but please seek medical advice too.

Thanks so much for your response. I don’t have a number to ring, I’ve not even seen anybody yet in regards to my pregnancy. If there’s no more blood tomorrow do I just leave it or would it still be worth speaking to a doctor?
