Hey!
Just wondering if anyone has experienced crazy (almost creeping me out) movements, constantly, at this stage of the pregnancy game?
I swear, my bump is moving all over the place and it is uncomfortable. I haven't had a show, waters havent broke, I have very mild low back pain. I just dont feel this is labour nearing , so perhaps I am clutching at straws that these changes in movement could mean labour is finally approaching?

If your pattern have movements has changed you should contact you midwife and get checked out, people often think this only means reduced movements but it's not it's CHANGED. If this is not normal for your baby get checked, it's most likely fine but it could signify that your baby is in distress.

Yep, I'm 40w and mine has been moving like crazy over the past week. Some nights it's so painful and goes on for 4 hours non-stop! My midwife says it's nothing to worry about.

I don't know if it means that labour is near - I haven't had any other signs yet either. He's probably just stronger and more uncomfortable in there now and needs to stretch out and kick more often!

Wild thrashing movements can be linked to cord problems. I agree you should check this out. By pass community midwife and contact the labour word

Just to be clear...I never had a show, my waters didnt break...but was in labour. If u feel different give yr midwife a call just to check.

How are you OP @Mcphers

Mcphers · 26/09/2019 18:32

Hi @Overseasmom100. I had a midwife appointment yesterday, who said everything is fine but would not do a sweep as the baby isnt engaged. I have a sweep booked for Tuesday and to be induced on 4th october (42weeks by then). Movements are back to normal.
I have cleaned the house top bottom, mainly to keep moving, rolled on the ball &went a huge walk today. I have mild period like cramps, which I'm praying is labour starting. I cant believe I had been pregnant.for almost ten months:( arghhhh!!! Xxx
