In comparison to your due date?

I am only 30 weeks but it seems a lot of people go over their 40 week due date and I wondered those who have had babies before, when did they arrive in comparison to your due date?

DS was 9 days late, sont know when waters went. 10.5 hours total of labour. Official records state less than 3.

DD was 7 days late. 4 hours 11 mins of labour, official records state less than 2.

If I have another I'm going to the hospital straight away. Don't fancy not getting to the hospital in time. (Both times I gave birth less than an hour after getting to the hospital. In fact, DD came 20 mins after arriving. Contractions ramped up both time as soon as I got to the hospital. And quick labours run in the family. )

39+6 of his own volition. I was going to be induced on my due date if he hadn't arrived by then.

#1 - 40+6
#2 - 39+5 (planned section due to being transverse, would most likely have been overdue as she hadn't even begun to move down)

I've never gone over my due date but always been within the week of my due date.

My first was 2 days early, my second was on his due date (only just passed midnight) and my third was 5 days early. Hoping baby four (currently 36weeks) will be about the same x

Induced at 37+4 due to small baby.

singymummy · 25/09/2019 13:38

DC1 16 days early
DC2 10 days early

Reallt interesting based on actual statistics

Also changes your personal chance of baby arriving on X date - for example OP's personal chance of going overdue is higher than someone who is only 24 weeks pregnant as OP will definitely not go into labour at 24+1. Does that make sense?

It was a bit of a rabbit hole for me to call down when I was heavily pregnant though. I'd check my chance of going into labour that week or that day far too often Grin obviously it is just statistical and theoretical.

I had mine at 39+6, 41+3, 40+2 and 40+1 so due date has been fairly accurate for me.
