In comparison to your due date?

I am only 30 weeks but it seems a lot of people go over their 40 week due date and I wondered those who have had babies before, when did they arrive in comparison to your due date?

34 weeks. I had planned to pack my hospital bag and sort out my birthing plan at 35 weeks so didn't have anything ready. I was way too confident in my 'due date'

NuffingChora · 23/09/2019 16:20

Due date for number one. Hoping number 2 sticks long enough for elective section at 39+0 😬

SomethingAboutNothing · 23/09/2019 16:53

40+15 after commencing induction on day 13.

SomethingAboutNothing · 23/09/2019 16:54

And as for 85%, I think that is babies not coming on their due date, but not specifying before or after.

Mummyto2munchkins · 23/09/2019 17:00

1st due date
2nd was 2 weeks early

DiploCat1 · 23/09/2019 17:04

35+5 totally unprepared to the extent I was still at work and in the wrong country... this time round going on MATL from 34 weeks and will be prepared with hospital bag, overnight bad for DD1 etc from 30 weeks! Maybe going a bit overboard but determined it will be a more organised affair this time round!

Marinetta · 23/09/2019 17:17

My son was 3 days early but I had been told to expect him late so was totally not expecting it and it took me hours to figure out what was going on. When pregnant I was told by my midwife that first babies usually arrive late but not sure how accurate that is as 3 colleagues were also pregnant with their first at around the same time and all arrived early.

1ToughCookie · 23/09/2019 17:24

39 weeks exactly. 3.5 hour labor.
Waters never went. Don't put too much faith in them as an indicator.

Brenna24 · 23/09/2019 17:44

35 weeks

Hedgehogblues · 23/09/2019 17:45

Three days early but they wouldn't have let me go further than my due date because of my age

oliviat93 · 23/09/2019 17:46

DD was born day before due date ☺️ and she is my first
