Hi,

I'm 39 weeks and for the past week
I've been having lots of cramps exactly like period pain.

They are getting more pronounced but not a lot seems to be happening. I'm starting to get really fed up

Is anyone else experiencing this or had it with a previous pregnancy. With DS I had nothing and just woke up
with contractions

With my first I had on and off period cramps for maybe 2 days or so. Then one evening they ramped up to rather painful for 12 hours, however were very irratic and irregular both in spacing and duration.
My waters went the next morning and dd was born less than 2 hours later.

Unfortunately though, I know people who have had on and off cramping and it turned into nothing so I think it is more hindsight that makes you see things as early labour signs as at the time, you don't know for sure.

Fingers crossed it is the start for you though. I am 39 weeks on Tuesday and have no signs at all. I can't wait for it to start and didn't even get to 38 weeks last time so it feels like the unknown.

I had cramping for about 24 hours then my waters broke. fingers crossed it will happen soon.

Still cramping loads but not a lot going on.

This is so frustrating

I had this for the last few weeks in all my pregnancies. V annoying. Have you had a show? That’s generally a sign that things are more imminent I think?

No nothing just the cramps.
I feel like it's never going to progress
