How do people feel about having botox done whilst pregnant?

Why would anyone risk it?? It's only 9 bloody months. I would think it highly selfish and, to be honest, ridiculous, if someone couldn't go that long without interesting a poison into their body while pregnant.

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 22/09/2019 20:18

*injecting

BillywilliamV · 22/09/2019 20:20

Er, why would you?

Wiltshirelass2019 · 22/09/2019 20:21

I don’t think any proper clinically trained practitioners would give you Botox whilst pregnant. You might get it at the local nail shop/tanning salon without question. Don’t risk it. Wait till the baby is here. And remember, no one but you gives a shit about your wrinkles.

I'd wait until after 6 months of sleepless nights.....you might actually need it then! 😴

PintOfBovril · 22/09/2019 20:23

It's a poison. It's injected into your living tissue. That tissue drains into your vascular and lymphatic system.... And back to baby. So I wouldn't, and I'd struggle to think of any reason why you'd consider having it whilst pregnant.

Funnily enough, there is no actual rule about not having Botox whilst pregnant. But why would you want to risk it? And no practitioner would inject you anyway!

There's no rule about smoking or drinking either.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess that is a sound enough group of responses to gauge peoples feeling on the subject.
