Hey,

I am just after some advice and to see if anyone else has felt like this at 16/17 weeks.
I am pregnant with my second and am feeling just terrible. Constantly nauseas, am unable to be sick and I wish I could be so I can feel better. Stomach is dodgy and I just generally feel rough! With my first pregnancy I had a little nausea but felt great and had so much energy from around 11/12 weeks.
This is so very different and I know all pregnancies are different.
What can I do? I'm not sure how I'm going to cope if I'm like this for the whole pregnancy. Any tips on what I can do?
Spoke with midwife and she said eat little and often which is what I am doing. I am also very gassy sorry tmi!

Thanks in advance

Anyone?
I also haven't felt the baby move in a few days (more like flutterings) should I be worried?

I was like you. Go to the gp. I was put on omoperzole for the indigestion, I get this conception. My first pregnancy symptom. I was also put on cyclizine for the nausea.
I was also told to stop pregnacare as it was making me feel worse.
Took a couple of weeks, but ended feeling a lot better. I’m 36 weeks to today, so now I’m just fed up and huge.

Thank you so much for replying. I think you're right, a trip to the GP is needed although my GP is a right....so and so shall we say. Still worth a shot as I feel completely awful. Were you actually sick in your pregnancy? I'm worried they won't do anything because I'm not actually throwing up just constantly feeling sick.
I wish you the best of luck with the baby and hope the last few weeks go as smoothly as possible for you.

I wasn’t eating enough to get sick. I had high ketones, so I had to do something or would of ended up in hospital.
I was also getting married at 18 weeks, so last thing I want was to miss my own wedding.

I'm 17 weeks and still feel nauseous if I don't eat enough, so could try upping slightly to little and often? I find if my tummy gets to the point where it's rumbling then I feel horrific for the rest of the day! I haven't felt anything yet either, apparently it's normal not to and sometimes until 20 weeks so try not to panic xx

I'm 19 weeks and feel your pain. First pregnancy so nothing to compare it too but have been feeling slightly better for the last 10 days or so. Mostly nausea rather than vomiting (up to 12 weeks at least) and have been prescribed cyclizine. My GP wasn't great (older gent) and advised little and often/soup/ginger . . . all of which I'd tried. Fortunately I was under the hospital as well so do keep trying and hope you feel better soon!

I'm 20 weeks and still feeling rotten. I have anti sickness tablets that really helped with my being sick and nausea and 16/17 weeks. I'm feeling better but still feel nauseous everyday. I just keep thinking one day I'll feel better and if I go through my whole pregnancy feeling rotten it's only 9 months of my life...which is hard but we will get there xx

Thank you everyone for replying. It's really hard this pregnancy! I think because with DD it was a breeze I am feeling very hard done by 🙄
I'm going to call the doctors tomorrow. Mine too is an older gent and he is the most unsympathetic man I've ever met. No bedside manner whatsoever!
I'm sorry to hear you all are feeling rubbish too.
I had such a glow and felt like a goddess with DD 😂 this time round I look like a menopausal teenager again 😩

Oh bless you. I was a week overdue and was still being sick at 41 weeks! Perhaps this time you're having a baby of a different gender! Hope you feel better soon OP, it'll all be worth it in the end
