Hi all 🙂

I got my screening report back today and im a bit confused by it. There's a 'background risk' and an 'adjusted risk'. Can anyone tell me what these both mean? I assumed you'd just get one ratio for 13/18 and 21?

Your background risk is based on your age and the amount of people your age that have had a baby with these trisomies, presumably on your hospital database.

Your adjusted risk is personal to you and based on your blood test results and the NT measurement.
