6+6 but suddenly feel different...

I did a pregnancy text a week ago today and it was positive and said I was 2-3 weeks.

I had a feeling I was as I had debilitating tiredness and my god my appetite was through the roof! Was even eying up one of my cats one day imagining him on toast.

But then all of a sudden the last three days or so, the tiredness and hunger have disappeared. I haven’t had any other symptoms (apart from my boobs are big and I’m bloated but that could just be weight gain due to the four day eating frenzy).

I did another test today as I just ‘feel’ different. It was still positive and still 2-3 weeks.

Does that indicate that my hormone levels haven’t increased since the first test?

I’m 39, have one daughter aged 2.5.

I haven’t got an appointment with the midwife till Thursday morning. But I’ve had a MC in the past at 9-10 weeks and guess I’m convinced it’s happened again, but possibly a missed miscarriage? I don’t know. I don’t even know what I’m asking tbh. Sorry.

@CatAnnoyance Id give it a few more days and test again, I am guessing you used clear blue?

My friend used one of them it said 3+ and she was 4 weeks pregnant, it shouldn't have even said 2-3! So try not to worry to much as they aren't always accurate x

The range of levels with Clear Blue are so wide. Try not to worry. If you’ve had a previous miscarriage you could call your local early pregnancy unit to chat about your experience and symptoms so far x

Thanks for your replies. I suppose I'm just in limbo, I'd forgotten how slooooooooow everything is, waiting for appointments and scans and all the while not knowing if everything is okay or not.

Still no symptoms today. No signs of MC either. Actual shitty frustrating limbo.

I am going to call the midwife team tomorrow and ask for an early scan. I think that's the only thing I can do at this stage. Thank you for reading x

I just thought I would update this thread in case anyone is searching for the same issue in the future and my situation offers some reassurance in some way.

I have still had no symptoms for a week so was booked into the EPAU this morning for a scan. Fully expecting them to tell me what I thought I already knew and that the baby had stopped developing and I'd had a MMC.

Nope. Straight away there was a strong heartbeat and it was clearly visible on the screen. To say I was in shock is an understatement.

Going from my last period date I thought I should've been about 7 weeks, but the sonographer says baby is measuring about 6, which to be honest ties in more with the possible conception date. She said not to worry that there is a weeks difference.

I know it is different for everyone but I was convinced I just no longer 'felt' pregnant. And I was wrong.

The relief! Smile

Thanks for your update OP! I had a positive test last week after which I figured I was around 5wks. At the time I had lots of minor cramping and very tender swollen boobs.

6+1 today and I haven’t been feeling any symptoms now for almost a week! Everything has calmed down. Have the odd spell of what I think could be the onset of nausea - but I think that’s due to the pregnancy supplements I’ve been taking which are 3 large pills and include a fish oil pill (barf!)

I’m on honeymoon at the moment though, and have just finished a 3 day safari - so I’m not complaining about the lack of symptoms!

Have my first appt with GP next week when home, and will also book in privately for an early scan I think, when I’m around 7wks by my estimation.
Just for some reassurance that there is something in there and it is doing ok..!!
