Haemoglobinopathy test 'unknown speak to Dr' Help!

Hi All

Currently panicking in my own following a call from the Dr results line to say my Haemoglobinopothy test is 'unknown' and I need to go in and speak with the Dr. I'm really scared, had anyone else had this and what was the next steps? The woman on the phone was really unhelpful and quite blasé.

Dr can't see me until next Saturday so I have all week to worry and panic but thought I wohld turn to you guys in the meantime.

Try not to panic, if it was desperately urgent they'd have seen you today not called you to make an appointment. It could be as simple as they weren't able to do the test from your sample for some reason or the results were ambiguous.
