I'm currently 15 weeks first pregnancy and I feel like I'm going crazy I'm convinced I can feel something at night when I'm in bed feels a bit like bubbles or butterflies but not getting too excited as could just be gas haha! When did everyone first start to feel baby move?

About 16/17 weeks for me so it could well be! Congratulations Smile

emmab96 · 19/09/2019 18:08

@ShrimpingViolet Thank you! it's just so exciting can't wait to feel my first proper kick think it will make it feel less surreal

How exciting! Soon enough there will be no mistaking it!
It was around 16 weeks for me.

Think I was around 15 weeks when I first felt her move, was around 20 weeks when I felt proper movements and kicks😊

FairyDust92 · 19/09/2019 18:52

15-16 weeks for me and it was little flutters 🥰

Dweebette · 19/09/2019 19:37

17 weeks (yesterday!) and it feels a bit like a rolling motion, have also had a couple of very light little "pops" today

emmab96 · 19/09/2019 19:39

@theydontknowweknow that's what I'm so excited for is to feel the proper kicks although I don't doubt when the baby starts to kick in more uncomfortable places the excitement might wear off a bit haha

@Dweebette yeah I've felt the pops too! funny enough my manger shouted at a colleague of mine and I felt a pop we joked that she made the baby jump haha

theydontknowweknow · 19/09/2019 19:44

@emmab96 exactly that haha! I'm nearly 30 weeks now and baby's feet have just made it to my ribs, not the comfiest or nicest feeling🙈

Dweebette · 19/09/2019 19:45

@emmab96 that's hilarious! I've been quite active this week and don't feel anything when I'm up and about but as soon as I lie down it feels like somersaults in there. It's really nice though

emmab96 · 19/09/2019 20:06

@theydontknowweknow see now that I don't envy haha!

emmab96 · 19/09/2019 20:08

@Dweebette yeah see that's when I feel it is when I'm lying in bed but when she shouted that's the first time I'd felt something outside of my bed so actually shocked me a little too haha

That's brilliant @emmab96 - DD used to jump when Mum's dog barked too!

emmab96 · 19/09/2019 20:13

@ShrimpingViolet oh that's too cute honestly it just melts my heart I'm such a sop haha

Enjoy it @emmab96 it's such a lovely feeling! Less lovely when you're like a beached whale and can't turn over in bed but you've got a while yet Wink

@WineOrGin it's totally normal they say most don't feel movements until 20 weeks especially if it's your first

I’m also 15 weeks, this is my 2nd pregnancy and I can definitely feel something. Last night I was on my side in bed and could feel the most gentle of some kind of movement, really hard to describe, and the last couple of days I’ve felt a very subtle prod/bubble in the lower centre of my abdomen. It feels different to digestion. I was 17/18 weeks with my first so it’s lovely to feel something.
