OCD in pregnancy

Anyone else suffering from ocd during their pregnancy? I had it with my last child and thought I'd be ok this time as I know more about it this time. But it's back and I'm struggling with it.
I'm 24 weeks and it feels like I'm going to be feeling like this for so much longer and I'm miserable. I'm seeing a psychologist fortnightly but haven't started cbt yet.

I have OCD generally (not specifically pregnancy related) and found I was ok with management until 35 weeks when I I started to see an uptick in symptoms, mostly related to the safety of the house for the new arrival. Have you got any techniques from your last pregnancy you can use to help until your CBT starts?

Hi @afternoontwee
Not really, I didn't know what it was last time. I just got through struggling along. It's germ and food related, hand washing etc. Which is hard as food is a daily occurrence you know? I have intrusive thoughts too about the baby not arriving safely and things going wrong.
Did you have cbt?

Hey

I have COCD and have been doing ERP (specific CBT) along with taking meds.

It's hard but I keep reminding myself I'm working hard to get better for the little one!

I've had this OCD for many years, not just during pregnancy.

I know it's hard but CBT is great and should make a big difference. It's great that you are doing something about it.
