Does anyone have any tips for horrible taste in mouth?

8weeks 4 days pregnant. Thought the horrible taste in my mouth (sour) was to do with the morning sickness, but I'm not sure it is. The only thing that's worked so far is eating (can't just eat all day as much as I'd love to!) have tried gum but chewing gum all day is making me more nauseous.

TIA!

I used to suck hard peppermint sweets constantly. Loved the Aldi ones.

I had sherbet sweets which were great! Helped nausea too!

A pint of squash (diluted) poured into ice cube tray and frozen helped me. Also ice poles. I got little jelly sweets too, lips and Haribo and sucked them rather than chewing. Cherry drops were fab but made my tongue bleed after a while. Mouthwash helped for a bit. My friend said Liquorice was good for metallic taste but I hate the stuff so can't vouch for that.

Still got this at 20 weeks. Polo mints are my best friend!

I had this, but it has mostly gone now at nearly 14 weeks. Tasted a horrible taste like butter most of the time. As above - boiled sweets were my main go to. But I also drank water constantly and ate fruit quite regularly to try and disguise it. Hope it doesn't last much longer for you!

Mint or boiled sweets, but be careful with sugar free ones as they can give you diarrhoea.

Great thanks so much all. Mints helped today, going to try some of the others tomorrow!
