No symptoms?

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, but I have hardly any symptoms. The only things different is going to the toilet more often and sometimes a pain across my lower tummy.
I had an early scan and she could see a sac but nothing else so they couldn't yet say if it's a viable pregnancy or not.
They didn't seem worried, but I've read online that at 6 weeks they could be able to see a heartbeat? If so, how come that even an internal scan only shows a sac?

Also, in my previous pregnancies I was heavily sick and now nothing. No sickness, no tender breasts, no extra tiredness or sleepiness.

@AlmostCoherent did they offer you another scan in a few days to see how the pregnancy is going? I had hardly any symptoms apart from sore boobs, everyone is different! Hope all goes well for you x

Yes, they offered me a scan in 10 days.

I'm just stressed because it wasn't planned, I have been thinking if I should continue and then this happens and I'm afraid there is something wrong.

Hi sorry to jump on your thread. How are you doing now op? Apart from heavyish boobs and occassional lower stomach cramps i have no symptoms and dont feel anything either. Im about 5 weeks.

I hope things worked out for you. I’ve been pregnant 3 times, first time awful symptoms from the beginning, second time no symptoms other than sore boobs and I miscarried at 10 weeks, and now I’m pregnant for 3 time. This time I didn’t have any symptoms except sore boobs again and I’m now 17 weeks. Strange that feeling well makes us worry that something is wrong.

Have they checked your HCG levels to see how they are doubling?

6wks can be to early to see anything depending on hcg levels.

It might be that you ovulated later than you think. I was actively ttc and when I had my 12 week scan, they put me back about a week and a half on my dates, even though I was positive of when my last period started, so that might be a reason why no heartbeat is showing yet. I also had no symptoms until 7-8 weeks, aside from no AF, then almost overnight, I got every symptom going. Try not to worry too much, there are always reasons behind things I have everything crossed for you and your little baby.

My clinic wouldn't do the scan until 7 weeks as 6 can be too early. If there is a chance you conceived or implanted later that could affect it.

As for symptoms don't worry too much. I ended up with tiredness and later a bit of heartburn (not unusual for me) but no other proper symptoms (no sore boobs, no morning sickness etc). I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and all fine so don't worry too much.

With my 1st I got no symptoms at all. Didnt believe I was pregnant until I got a scan as there was nothing. All hit me around the 15 weeks though. Shes now 10 😊
