Hey Guys, so I am pretty new to all this so quite confused! I was on the contraceptive pill for around a year before me and my fiance decided to try for a baby. I had my one-week pill break for my period from the 12th August-17th August and then didn't continue with taking the pill.
We were pretty much trying everyday haha as I wasn't sure how the pill would affect my cycle and ovulation. From the 1st-2nd September, I was sure I was ovulating, I had a few of the signs to tell me I was. I just came back from a week in Cyprus and during that time I had a slight feeling, I could be pregnant. I had gained weight, boobs bigger, whenever I drank alcohol I felt quite nauseous. I got home last Saturday which was 14th September and took a test which showed positive. I proceeded to take a few more for confirmation lol and they all said positive. I also took the clear blue test which tells you the weeks and it said 1-2 weeks. But now I have found out that's actually just 1-2 weeks from when you conceived and doctors will count it as more like 3-4 weeks!
If I calculate it from the first day of my last period apparently I am more like 5 weeks! But would this be as accurate if I was on the pill for so long? Technically my last period I was still on the pill just on my week break. It's all just confusing me, haha. I guess I wasn't expecting to get pregnant so quickly when coming off the pill, any advice would be appreciated.
