Hey I know I'm probably being silly but it's my first pregnancy and still not felt anything that I'm sure is baby. I am due to have my scan on friday and heard the heartbeat a couple of weeks ago so sure it's fine but it's so worrying! Anyone else not felt it this late? I don't think I've got that big a bump either!

Hello, this can be completely normal so don’t panic. Is this your first baby? This is my first and I didn’t get any movement until around 21 weeks and even then it wasn’t really a lot. It got more and more! Also I didn’t start showing until 28 weeks-30 weeks. That’s when people really saw I had a bump! I’ve always had a flat tummy and my mum carried smaller with me and my sister despite us being 7 pounders. I’m now 39 weeks and due this weekend and I’m still not massive ! Everyone is so different xxx

PP is right :) don't worry I didn't really feel movement until w23 and did start to show until w26. 39w now so counting down the days to meeting the little guy and being able to see over my stomach again 😅

Thank you both :) it is just so hard to believe there is anything in there when you cant really feel it despite really analysing every movement haha! Hopefully all is ok at the scan. Did you have anterior placentas? X

No AP I think it just takes a bit longer to feel anything with the first one :)

I was 22 weeks before I felt anything with my 2nd baby. I was 17 weeks with my first so I knew what to look out for. The only bonus was that my husband felt it as well as it was full on movements rather than flutters. With the first it was much later before he felt anything x

Didn't feel DS2 until 22 weeks!

I had a few pops but didn't get first real movement until 20 weeks. Also depends on your placenta

I'm 26 weeks with my second and it's only within the last week that I've felt actual movements before then I would have odd fluttery movement occasionally but not often. I dont think I felt my first move until after my 20 week scan. Even during the scan the sonographer was asking if I was feeling the movement because the baby was very active but I didn't feel any of it

I felt almost nothing throughout pregnancy. They just weren't kickers. They were very chilled and still are! As long as the scans show normal heartbeats and growth rates, you're fine.
