So I’m after some ideas really for my sister, who is now 12w pregnant, and some good baby gifts that I can make.

We’re a fairly crafty family. But I am now 33w and have been the recipient of some lovely pressies that family members have made me/baby. I’ve got knitted items, and sewn. My sis actually made us a beautiful origami crane mobile and a quilt.

I’m just wondering if any of you have found cool Etsy-esque baby-friendly anything’s that might inspire me to get started on a project?

I’m a competent knitter, I don’t have a sewing machine, and I’m probably the least artistic in the family... but I’ve got time, and aspiration to get better 😊

Could you knit/crochet a cuddly toy?

My MIL made us a framed cross stitch with baby's name, date of birth, weight etc. She stitched the pictures and borders and then just added the details at the last minute.

Goodness, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! 🤦‍♀️ A knitted toy is a great idea, and certainly well within my limits!! 😂 Thank you x
