Nausea/morning sickness/stomach pain

This is my first time posting and first time pregnant so I hope someone can help.
The past week I have completely lost my appetite due to feeling sick all the time.
This morning I felt terrible and about 11am I was actually sick twice at work, instantly I felt hungry (for the first time in a week) so I ate a bag of crisps.
8/9 hours have passed since I was sick and ate some quavers and I'm having really severe stomach pains, I'm finding it really hard to have an appetite at the moment and I know I need to eat but the thought of food is making me feel even more sick.
The stomach pains are causing me a lot of discomfort which has brung to tears.
It's across the whole front of my stomach almost exactly where your abs would be positioned.
As this is my first time pregnant I have no idea what's normal/not normal and what to be concerned about.
I just want to make the discomfort/pain go away so I'm not feeling like this in work tomorrow!
I have eaten some crumpets thinking the stomach pain is just from my stomach being empty after being sick earlier but it's not seeming to shift, if anything it almost feels worse!

I have had quite painful indigestion/heartburn which I thought only happened later on. Gaviscon is safe to take but I couldn't get it down as it made me feel sick. You can get ranitidine from the pharmacy which is apparently safe but it would be worth seeing your gp. I've also had quite a bit of trapped gas pain and constipation- this pregnancy thing is so glamorous! Does it sound like it could be anything like that? I suffer with this kind of thing occasionally when not pregnant and it's so miserable xxx

I'm not sure if it's heart burn or indigestion as it's more in my stomach area then my chest and I've hardly eaten anything for it to be Indigestion!
But I'm still in so much pain and discomfort 😔
I literally can't sit still for more than a minute!
I ate two crumpets earlier about an hour/2 hours ago and I've just thrown it back up.
Is there anything I can take that can help this and the discomfort?

I seem to be getting stomach aches after eating certain things too, but I do suffer from it generally before I became pregnant so I think the pregnancy is emphasising it even more.

Currently drinking peppermint tea to try and ease it, maybe try ginger biscuits as they are easy to eat and settle stomach along with minty things too.

The nausea & food aversions are totally normal and totally awful. For most people, it eases up anywhere from 12 weeks - 20 weeks (with the majority more like 12-14 weeks).

The stomach pain is maybe more unusual.. is it gas pains? Or are you constipated at all? I get terrible stomach ache but mines from a lot of throwing up & constipation! If it gets really bad, def let your doctor check it out. Better to be cautious.

For the sickness/nausea, there’s lots of suggestions if it’s not too bad.. have a google of morning sickness remedies. The food aversions, just go with it. Eat what doesn’t make you feel awful. I’ve not touched a vegetable in 7 weeks. I live off potato mostly. And bread. My diet is atrocious but baby is totally fine. I was the same with my first pregnancy & I had a healthy 8lb baby! You just survive the first trimester as best you can! Hopefully by 12-14 weeks, you can get back to a much healthier diet Smile

If the sickness & nausea gets completely overwhelming & you are struggling to eat/drink, there are safe anti-sickness meds most doctors will prescribe. Not everyone’s choice but the option is there.

Sending love & I hope the next few weeks fly by and you feel better!

Ps. If heartburn is bad, Zantac is totally safe. My doctor prescribes it to me. Zantac is a brand name, the medicine is called ranitidine. You can get it off the shelves in supermarkets/chemists/Boots. Gaviscon & Rennie are your other options.. I cannot stomach Gaviscon but I do enjoy an orange flavour Rennie!
