Pregnant after miscarriage?

Hi,

I had a missed miscarriage and had a medical management on the 14 August. I bled for around 9 days and then Two weeks after the medical management I started my period. I didn’t have sex during this period.

After my period I had sex around my ovulation days and today I am around 6dpo. I’ve taken two pregnancy tests and have got positives (faint on one).

I’m a little confused, could this be ‘leftover’ hcg from my miscarriage? I was told my hormones should return to normal once I had my period. Surely it’s too early for a positive to show up?

Help or advice appreciated!

Also worth asking if I should be concerned about a positive still showing up over 4 weeks later?

To be honest, this is usually why they advise to pregnancy test 2 weeks after miscarriage to ensure it has properly completed. You could absolutely be pregnant again, I got pregnant the cycle after my miscarriage.
I would be inclined to contact my GP as it could be 'products' (terrible word I know) from your last pregnancy so they might advise ultrasound to rule that out.

Fingers crossed for you xx

Thanks, i realised I left out that I did do a pregnancy test on the 8th and there was no line. I didn’t use a first response, just the other cheap stick one which I had at the time.

Hey op. I hope it was good news. I only just saw your reply and that sounds really positive in that case. Hope it was a sticky one for you x
