Worrying about being off work too much sick

I’ve been off at least 4 times in the past 12 weeks or so due to pregnancy sickness. I work for the NHS and they follow the usually policy of if you are off so much, you are on monitoring.

I was admitted to hospital last night and put on a drip for sickness and, though I’m back home now, I still feel terrible and shattered and probably not up to work tomorrow.

Should I be worried about work or do I have rights as I’m pregnant?

Thank you x

If you're sick because of pregnancy (and they're aware of the cause) it can't be recorded in the same way as normal sickness... it 'doesn't count' so to speak. But they need to know why.

Yes, you have rights because of pregnancy.
