Hello

I had scan today, my midwife estimated me to be 7 week's.
I've attached a picture.
Does anyone think that is a second sac on the right ?

Twins !?
OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

mentioned it Grin

Ye they always look like this it's another organ as tht one at other side your uterus

CmdrCressidaDuck · 14/09/2019 14:45

Um do you not think if your scan showed twins clearly enough to be visible to a complete amateur, someone who reads them for a living would have noticed?

It's a singleton.

FairyDust92 · 14/09/2019 15:40

Congratulations!

No I don't think. Mine looked similar but didn't even notice it looked like another sac until after he was born 🙈

I'm a sonographer. That's your bladder...
Was there a reason you were having a scan so early on?

Moonn · 14/09/2019 16:19

I had 4 good sized follicles, one day before IUI at 21, 22 ,18 and 17 ... Well I hope i have twins ! GrinBlush

Didn't even know midwifes did scans

Teddybear45 · 14/09/2019 18:31

Nope not a second sac.

StarlightCeleste · 14/09/2019 19:18

Dolly - some midwives do scans. Midwives who have trained in obstetric sonography.Mostly in antenatal and EPAU. Some at private and fertility clinics.

I hope everything goes well for you OP! :)
