Had a private early scan the other day at 11 weeks which turns out by measurements I was 11+4. But the lady doing the scan said baby was quite high up and when she was scanning the probe was right over my belly button and maybe an inch below at some points. My belly is starting to feel slightly more firm but again the lower bit where I would expect the uterus to be is totally flat but the area where my belly button is looks swollen. Is this normal for what will be 12 weeks tomorrow. Haven’t got my NHS scan for another week.
