Short College Evening Course

Do you think it would be ridiculous to do a sign language course from mid Sept until the beginning of Dec when I'm due on 1 Dec?

The course isn't overly expensive and it would get me out the house for an evening a week. I'm suffering from PGP and sciatica and feel quite down with it. I thought doing something in the evenings may help put my mind elsewhere and give me something to do/practice whilst at home alone (I work shifts!).

I think it would be great. You are having time for yourself, it’s not a physical class and you’ll be learning!

Plus once baby arrives, you can sign to them. I did “tiny talk” with my daughter and she loved communicating from an early age.

Good luck!

Thanks @Hunkyd0ry that's what I thought too! Something for me to concentrate on. I will miss one lesson due to work but otherwise fits nicely in with my shift pattern.

I'm glad to hear that tiny talk worked for you. I assume it is baby sign language/similar? My plan is to take LO to classes for learning and development Smile

Yes it’s a baby sign class. I loved it and so think it helped my daughter share her wishes from an early age. Plus it’s using BSL rather than another form of communication.
