Hey
My friend has cancer and wants me to go with her to chemo tomorrow. I've supported her before I was pregnant; but now I'm worried. I know it'll probably be ok as long as I didn't come into contact with any of the drugs, and why would I, but I can't hell worrying about it.
Thanks, any advice appreciated!

I don’t think you need to worry - it’s no different to go into any other ward in a hospital.
If your still worried when you get there you could just check with a nurse on the ward but I really don’t think you need to worry.

My late Dh was having chemo throughout my pregnancy. I went to his treatment sessions with him and was never told not to, nor of any adverse effects to be aware of.

You are being a good friend xxx

I've been to chemo wards pregnant, and all was well. You can mention it to the nurse just to put your mind at rest, if that helps.

Wondering if you're confusing it with radiation therapy? Just don't let them inject you and it should be fine!

Actually it can come out in your urine, but as you’re not touching her wee I’m sure you’ll be fine.
