Extremely active at 38 weeks 3 days

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and all night and even this morning I've had a very active baby who just won't settle no matter what I do.. is this a sign that I'll go into labour extremely soon, or do I just have an awkward little madam 😭

I'm sorry if this isnt the case but any change in movement please check with your midwife. Especially if it's a big change x

I 2nd that - if you feel baby is moving ALL the time and movements quite painful maybe worth a quick call to midwife just to check?!

I have heard some women do find this before going into labour though! I’m 38+4 and I’ve found the last few weeks my movements to be a lot more noticeable and he squirms and twists and push’s more than the little kicks I used to get! I’ve got my bouncy ball ready now, I’ve been drinking raspberry leaf tea for a week now and I plan on having a hot curry very soon! 🤭

Just to add to the above really, I would seek advice for any change in pattern or frequency of movement. Fingers crossed baby arrives soon!
