Best pregnancy leggings

Cuppa12345 · 11/09/2019 08:19

I'm 7 months but my trusted black leggings I've worn in my last 2 pregnancies have got several holes in, including a big one in the crotch that I can't ignore anymore.

Don't want to spend loads, and any that will be wearable in the months after birth too would be good.

Hit me with your recommendations!

I bought the gap full panel ones in the sale and they’re great! So comfy I don’t want to take them off - and a bargain too!

Ah, I'm a 14 so XL(18) bit big and L sold out. What are the sizes like, could I get away with the M (10 - 12)? I'm a M in my old jojo maman bebe ones.

Just splashed out (£29) on the seraphine bamboo ones.
They are epic! So comfy and really stretchy, but they don't sag. Definitely worth it!

NeatFreakMama · 11/09/2019 10:57

I got some for under a tenner in H&M in the size up from my normal and I get sad when I have to wear anything else Grin

Lauraloop1516 · 11/09/2019 11:12

I've tried maternity leggings from New Look and H&M and have found the ASOS ones are the best/comfiest fit on me. Great value too!

Ubbee · 11/09/2019 11:36

I’m normally a 12-14 on bottoms and the M is super comfy for me! :)

blackcat86 · 11/09/2019 11:41

The bloomin wild from mothercare are amazing. I actually put them on the other day (DD is 1) because they were so comfy. They are not completely opaque though. I had new look ones that could be worn with just a top and were nice.

Lastbustowhitehawk · 11/09/2019 11:48

Séraphine are the best! They are a little expensive but I wore them constantly from 6 months pg until DS was older than I care to admit!

ineednewhair · 11/09/2019 12:26

I found ASOS to be the best for me when I was pregnant . And for after wards

Moomin8 · 11/09/2019 12:27

Agree Seraphine are good. Also like Isabella Oliver. H&M are not too bad but the elastic goes. And all the others go bobbly.

daphine2004 · 11/09/2019 12:34

Asda George. Really cheap and comfy, plus not transparent!

KnobJockey · 11/09/2019 12:36

If you have a big bump, the h&m ones are the only ones that still for me. I'm a 14 and wear an L, they are bloody comfy and only a tenner.

Cuppa12345 · 11/09/2019 14:39

Thanks all, well check them out! Like the sound of the bamboo ones

I used Asda they were a life saver

2 for £12

Cuppa12345 · 11/09/2019 17:39

Asda only have size 18 or size 8 😭

Peacocks! Not squat proof though, so a long/tunic top to cover your bottom would be good.

2beautifulbabs · 11/09/2019 17:47

Lidil do really nice ones and cheap and they are relatively thick they currently have them coming up this week

chipscheesegravy · 11/09/2019 18:13

I didn't discover them until towards the end but honestly the £3 primark leggings a few sizes up - amazing!

Harvey3 · 11/09/2019 18:24

H&M are better than the Asos and Jojo ones I've tried - most comfy and also cheapest!

diddlediddle · 11/09/2019 20:05

Second the H&M recommendation. Last for ages. The jojo ones I bought went bobbly between the thighs after literally one wear! Ridiculous.

ppwonar · 11/09/2019 20:16

Love Leggings. Wish I'd found them sooner. Not see through, although on the thicker side that I wouldn't have worn them in summer anyway. Perfect for Autumn!

FirsttimerNI · 11/09/2019 20:23

Asos the best for me as they are thick enough to be totally opaque. Think they were only £16. So comfy and don’t sag. A god send, wish I’d found them before 35 weeks!

AndBeholdAWhiteHorse · 11/09/2019 21:08

Lidl have super cheap ones in their middle section tomorrow. Going to get a couple of pairs as if they are rubbish I won't care!

nousername95 · 13/09/2019 10:01

@ppwonar I agree! Love Leggings are great, I just bought two pairs and they are the best and comfiest leggings I've ever owned! They also stretch out really well for longer legs, I haven't found a better fitting pair in my life.

Doxielover1 · 13/09/2019 15:37

Definitely recommend Love Leggings too - really comfy and not too expensive 👌🏼
