Hi all - am new to site but found it already great consolation. Have posted messages couple days ago, but was advised that best to put under 'pregnancy thread'. So here it goes again:

All the best to all of you waiting for results, etc.

NEED advice - am going crazy. Had miscarriage in December 2006 at 16th week, had been bleeding throughout and didn't know was pregnant for nearly 10 weeks. Then lost it. Would have been first cild.

Now pregnant around 6-7 weeks, but first scan did not show anything. It's early days, but possibly blighted ovum. Stopped feeling 'pregnant', tummy gone down, no nauseau any more.

Scan will be Tuesday next week to clarify, hoping against hope - but expecting the inevitable... Still childless and not getting younger.

Even left stressful job to conceive - and it worked quickly (the week I left!). But now slightly deflated (literally). No career, no job, possibly no baby - and put on 4 kg as I stopped serious sports. Sorry feeling mopy. The world won't end and is beautiful, but still...

Good Luck to all of you.

wildwind so sorry about your m/c. Congratulations on your BFP. How many weeks were you when you had the 1st scan? You might be earlier than you thought which might be why you didn't see anything on scan. Why did you suspect blighted ovum?

I think pg symptoms goes up and down, I know most of us who had m/c feels more reassured if we continually have pg symptoms but for what it's worth, I was throwing up in the morning and lost the baby that evening.

Wish you all the best for next Tue. Hang in there. Hope it works out for you. Hugs x

Wildwind ? welcome to MN I am really sorry for your loss especially so late. I lost my baby at 10 weeks in March so know the beginnings of how you must have felt.

It is hard being pg again after a MC in itself (I?m 17 weeks now) but having to be in the horrible limbo you are now in makes it even worse. I do really feel for you. I hope the days go quickly until your next scan and that the result is a lovely surprise. I have always taken comfort from the thought that they keep on looking because nature has a funny way of doing the unexpected. Fingers crossed for you xx

Sorry about your loss before WW.

This time round, have you had sore boobs/ nipples?

wildwind · 12/08/2007 09:45

Thank you dal, Mrs and my1! Helps a lot just to mull things over with people who experienced similar things. Will try not to dwell, but be positive. Tue not coming soon enough. dal: Nipples not tight at all, suspect blighted ovum, cause nurse said this is quite possible, as week 7 one should see something. [hmm} At least work to do on Mon - so day will pass quicker. We calculated even with v. long cycle I would have been week 7. Maybe nature is playing tricks and I am earlier, but NO PREG SYMPTOMS currently whatsoever.
Mrs: Wishing you all the very best for your pregnancy. Hope you can thoroughly enjoy it.
my1: Sounds scary what you went through, but hope you ok now.

Write soon, be well.

Hello you all, Seems all your good wishes have helped! Scan today showed very little, no heartbeat - but SOMETHING! Nearly fell off table!
No preg symptoms, have lost 4 pound, no sore boobies, no nausea (lucky me). Cramping ongoing, but nurse said paracetamol could help.
All involved may have been slightly off regarding weeks. Seems NOW in week 7.
Another scan next week to check blip is growing and has heartbeat.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Wishing all the best.

wildwind

Congratulations.

With my first pg i had no symtons, i didn't find out i was pg until 10 weeks only tested because my mum insisted that i was pg. DD is now 3 1/2 years and a complete handfull.

I had a missed miscarriage last june, i had a few symtons and found out i was pg at 5 weeks, but lost it at 10 weeks.

I am now 37 + 6 with my 3rd pg and again i had no symtons and again i found out i was pg at 10 weeks. I only tested because DH insisted.

I guess i am trying to say try not to worry to much about not having any early symtons not every one gets them. if it any help i had morning sickness from about 12 weeks to 22weeks.

Hi all, hope everyone is well.
Had a bit of bleeding and still cramps. Don't know what to think any more. Yes, No, Yes, ... Next scan on Friday, 24th, should show heartbeat after all this. Totally wrecked (sleeping all day). Time off, no sports at all and craving anything with coconut in it (???) Hope this is good sign.
Be well and fingers crossed for all.
