I have taken a couple of pregnancy tests over the last couple of days and I keep thinking I can see positive lines..maybe I am going mad!! Just wanted to get some advice and thoughts. I took a Sainsbury’s test earlier this evening and thought I could see a line again..I know they are not very reliable though. Thoughts anyone 😊

Did you mean to add a photo?

girlanonymous · 10/09/2019 21:39

A Sainsbury's test picked up my pregnancy about 4 days before my period was due. Same day I did a clearblue and home bargains. I posted pics on here of it. It was a positive.

FiMe · 10/09/2019 21:41

Yes I did, but don’t know how to add photo?

Just read that you need to have a profile for 48 house before posting a picture. That’s not much use in this case. Thanks for the replies though 😊 I’ll have a look at your pictures to see 😊

I have done 4 Sainsbury's tests today all looked like a very very faint positive when I looked at them an hour later the line is darker but alot thinner, I have also done a clear blue and a super drug one which have both been negative. I am going to take my last superdrug one in morning and fingers crossed that will come back positive.. I am soo confused!

FiMe · 10/09/2019 22:01

I am the same, just don’t know what to think! It’s all very confusing, it all doesn’t help that I am overthinking it all. Think I will just need to wait and take a different test and see what happens. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻😊 let me know how you get on!

TTC makes you feel mad definitely, I just got AF this morning, on out 5th cycle of trying and genuinely feels like a kick in the stomach every time. I was so sure this time too - definitely going loopy and losing my marbles in the process

Mumof388 · 10/09/2019 22:07

I sure will, I could definitely see a very faint positive when first taken then later on it has got darker! I got all excited then took the other 2 tests because iv heard afew bad reviews about Sainsbury's tests. I have just read a very old thread about evaporation lines not been possible on here which has got my hopes up even more!

Butterflykiss00 · 10/09/2019 22:08

Just done my last superdrug test and nothing but a bfn 😭

Caramelblonde70 · 11/09/2019 07:17

I had 4 rounds of IVF (successful on the last cycle) and I probably spent hundreds on pg tests. My 'go to' test was First Response - you can test early and they appeared to be accurate with no evaporation lines. Good luck OP X

FiMe · 11/09/2019 08:36

@Mumof388 I am so sorry to hear this 😥 You can just never tell, so disappointing when you could see the lines!

@Caramelblonde70 Congratulations 😊 I think you’re right I will try another test. Curiosity got the better of me and I did the other Sainsbury’s test this morning and the same faint line appeared. Thinking they are probably faulty tests!

They have got to be because I go 4 positives off them ☹️

Mumof388 · 28/09/2019 19:30

Update on this I have taken a clear blue today and got a bfp 😁 I was adamant I wasn't after testing last time because I started bleeding 2 days before aunt Flo was due and continued to bleed for a few days although a lot lighter then usual but enough for a liner, passed few days I have had mild cramping and constantly feel sick so today I just got an instinct to test and hey ho there it is x
