At what stage can I expect to feel a proper kick, I know it must vary from person to person, and a lot of books tell you when you should feel "movements" "bubbling" etc, but when do you feel a proper kick?

I'm currently 23 weeks and I probably felt the baby properly about a week ago and now it's normally every evening after dinner!

Not until about 2 days before my 20 wk scan. I still have a very calm baby who doens't kick very much - kind midwife suggested strong stomach muscles meaning I just can't feel it as much - hah! I wish!

Funnily enough at about 6am this morning - woke DP up to tell him and then was suitably insensed by his lack of interest I am just about 19 weeks now.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm pregnant with my 2nd, and only 13.5 weeks, but could swear I've been feeling movements today (like a pressure and a rolling sensation in my lower abdomen.) With my dd, I think I felt it around 16 - 18 weeks - then it was more of a popping of bubbling sensation. Is it possible that I am feeling movements or am I being crazy. (BTW, in both cases when I've felt it today it's been after eating - pack of sour cream and onion crisps and grapes!)
