Hi

I’m 12 weeks and worry so much. The last week I have had a constant stretching and pulling sensation, it’s there all the time. Sometimes it’s one side, then it will move to the other and then it can be across the whole lower abdomen. Is this normal?

I have occasionally had mild period like cramps but they don’t last long and go away.

Yesterday I had pain under my ribs for an hour and had an achy neck and shoulder but this has gone today.

I’ve had no bleeding and white discharge. Up until about week 10 I had bad fatigue but it’s not as bad now. However I seem to get a week of bad morning sickness and then a week of ok morning sickness. I’m on the OK week at the moment.

I have a scan next week and I’m worried it will be ectopic or a MMC. Should I wait till my scan or go and speak to the doctor now?

Firstly: congrats!

Secondly it all sounds completely normal. I think it's called round ligament pain. And it can be very sharp and painful! If it's consistent and agony no harm in getting checked darl xx

Thanks @Alice8688 I think I’m just a born worrier. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced it.

With you entirely. I'd worry if there was nothing to worry about 😂 I'm sure you'll be just fine hun xx

Hi OP. I'm 12 weeks and feeling just the same. I think it's completely normal, lots is happening in there and our babies are no longer tiny seeds or berries Smile you'll probably feel much more confident after your scan.

I also found my symptoms temporarily disappeared around 9 weeks and I know lots of other ladies on these forums have said the same too. It's the only time in your life you'll worry about not feeling ill enough!

@DerbyshireGirly you’ve summed that illness thing nicely. Weird how we moan about not feeling ill when pregnant lol and I wouldn’t wish morning sickness on anyone!
