Second hand prams

Are these safe if they're the carry cot type with a mattress in? Just because I read you're not supposed to use a second hand mattress for the cot etc I wondered if it's different for a pram?

I think for most common brands you can buy a new mattress fairly reasonably.

Google availability before buying though, in case it’s an awkward shape or discontinued.

There are places that make new mattresses to order - you provide a paper cut-out in the shape you need so it's fine if it's a non-standard size.
