Felt exactly the same with other two pregnancies - eg. ill most of the day but not throwing up. Don't really feel that ill at all with this one (v. early days). Anyone else have experience of this?

with dd1 & dd2 i was very ill i was even put in hospital at 16wk wiv dd1 with dehyradion (sorry cant spell)

but with this baby the only thing is im sick once in the morning but i think this is more to do with me being hungry

theres nothing to worry about

mummyto2littleprincess · 08/08/2007 22:23

CHOCOLATEPEANUT- i hope this is why im not as ill as i have 2 girl would love this one to be a boy maybe it is maybe thats why i feel ok

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 08/08/2007 22:26

mummy

I sadly lost 2nd dd at 24 week pg.So was not really bothered what this one was as long as it lived but now I am over the moon its a boy as I am one of two girls and sister has two girls so a boy will be first one.

I am defo lot better than other two pgs and I too am only sick in mornings now (i am 24 weeks - been a bit scary this week with previous history)
also this baby more active and I am a lot bigger too

Hi,

I'm due April and also ahd yperemesis in the past (terrible- on a drip - with ds1, lesser but medicated with other two). Now i'm not in the clear yet but at 6 weeks, well rpeviously I would have been close to hospitalisation already!

Been a bit nauseous but thats it really.

Dh thnks its a girl (have 3 boys), somehow I doubt it LOL

I am finding also if I feel sick, if I eat I'm OK

TBH I would sugest you do as I do- feel bloody grateful and enjoy feeling well as long as you can LOL!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT so sorry to hear that

PrincessGoodLife · 10/08/2007 14:12

Have heard of this happening to people I know. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Sometimes your body changes and deals with things differently.

revelyell · 10/08/2007 16:26

i know its all sposed to be nonsense bad science, etc but absolutely every female relative confirmed the 'boys are less sick' theory. i wasnt ill at all and am having a boy...

Mungarra · 10/08/2007 17:29

I've never had really bad morning sickness, but had nausea, lots of hunger etc. With this pregnancy, I've hardly had any.

My first two were boys, then a couple of miscarriages and this one is a girl. I think that your body just gets more used to the hormones and it's nothing to do with the sex.

becklespeckle · 10/08/2007 17:35

For starters every pg is different and I have had varying degrees of nausea with each one which seems to have nothing to do with whether the pg is sucessful or not. Until this pg the worst nausea I had was with m/c last year so I would not say that feeling fine is necessarily a sign of something wrong.
On the boys/girls and sickness debate, I had very little nausea with my 2 boys but this pg I had it terribly and scan earlier in the week suggests it may be a girl (although legs crossed so not definite)!
