Leaky boobs

28 weeks today and my boobs have been leaking. Not excessively and I know this is normal. It was first clear and really stick but now it’s got a hint of white and not so sticky.

I’m not a nipple tweaking weirdo but sometimes I have squeezed my nipple to see if it is still producing this - is it colostrum? - sometimes it comes out sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t do this every day or once a week probably once a blue moon the most recent being tonight and can’t remember the time before now.

Should I stop this as I have read the first bit of breast milk is the bestest bit and I don’t want to squirt it al out purely out of curiosity 😂

It's colostrum and totally normally. I had to wear breast pads everyday from about 29 weeks. Meant I had to sleep in a bra too.

Yes it’s colostrum, you won’t run out don’t worry it’s produced continuously you can ask midwife for some syringes to express a little and freeze-good to have in case anything prevents you from feeding straight away/as you plan to.
