how to hurry up labour

Does anyone have any tips on how to hurry up labour, i am 40 weeks preganant and desperate to meet my baby...

Not sure you really can speed things up, but in my experience ... pineapple, rasberry leaf tea worth trying. I also found a really quite vigorous aqua-natal session seemed to help both times. Otherwise, the things that really do seem to work are sex - specifically semen on the cervix and a fair bit of nipple stimulation (by you or a friend!) Those last 2 are the only really proven methods I think. Otherwise, enjoy some sleep while you can!
