Hypnobirthing classes

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried hypnobirthing and what their thoughts were?
I'm being such a stress head and my midwife suggested it to help me relax. I am based in Hertfordshire and the only classes I can find seem very expensive. I dont want to pay out for a course and hate it after one session.

I was due to go in a course but my baby came early, however the lady who ran the course sent me a CD to listen to which I did every night, it relaxed me that much I never got to the end as I fell asleep! Which apparently was a good thing. See if you can get a CD first so it’s not as expensive.

I’ve worked my way through the positive birth digital pack after recommendations on here as I couldn’t justify the cost of face to face classes. Waiting on my little one to arrive so can’t comment on how I get on with it but I’ve found it really helpful for keeping me informed and calm and I feel prepared

At least get a book or attend a taster session. Something is better than nothing and it has already changed me completely! Way better than any nct class.

I genuinely dont think you'll regret trying

They're an online course on the positive birth company i think it is called.

Most in person classes here are at least £250 which out is off attending. From what I've read it's hardly rocket science.

Antenatsl yoga i find very relaxing and helpful.
