Anyone else experiencing dull aches around back and tummy?

Past three nights I’ve got like dull back ache and feels like it’s coming to the front. I’m 22+2 and wondering if anyone else experiences this?

It’s it normal pregnancy pains? I can’t wait to get settled in bed with a cuppa in my hands and hot water bottle on my back! X

YES! I keep getting these. I'm 25 weeks and have been having them every few days for about 2 weeks. I'm guessing that it's baby moving about putting pressure on certain areas. sometimes it feels like period pain and I get plenty of dull lower back ache again, similar to period pain. They are on and off and don't last very long for me. This is number 3. To be honest I'm not concerned but perhaps I'm too relaxed. Hope the hot water bottle worked for you. X

Yes mine feels exactly the same! Like a period pain. This is also my third pregnancy but my youngest is 11yrs old and I can’t remember if I felt like this before! It always seems to get me at night time when I sit down so it’s not constant. Xx

I'm 14 weeks and getting the pains especially when I lie down. This is my third pregnancy - never had this before and also have had spotting since week 5, on and off, but the scans show a healthy and VERY active baby in there so I am trying not to worry. By my last scan they put me forward a week because the baby was big.
So I'm guessing that my symptoms are partly due to a very bouncy baby but I'm still a bit anxious!

@Starlight84, that's interesting you're on your third also. Perhaps the two previous babies have stretched and broken our bodies hence these peculiar pains. Mine are also worse after I've had a lye down, roll over in bed and in particular when I try and peel myself from my bed in the morning, especially the lower back ache. I'm putting it down to my muscles just aren't as taught as they used to be! X

It’s very bizarre but I don’t think it’s a worry as it’s not constant. Baby was lying across me on my scan. I’m wondering if it’s also his positioning? He’s been there since early on so I think he’s happy there! I’m curious for my 25 week appointment to see if he's shifted or not! Xx

Jumping in here too. This is my third pregnancy and getting the same. How strange we are all on the third pregnancy and getting this.

I haven’t felt movement today so I’m feeling a bit anxious. If nothing tonight then I’m calling the birth centre in the morning to put my mind at rest xx

@snowflakeeel no not that I felt :( I’m awaiting delivery of my food shop (should be here by 9) and then I’m calling else I’ll spend all day worrying again. My day off so not even got work to distract me today! Xx

I’ve an appointment at 3! Arrrgghhh why can’t it be now! I’ll be spending my whole day off worrying now :( xx

Waiting is tough. Fingers crossed for you. have you tried the usual? drinking cold water, nibbling some chocolate to see if it stimulates baby movement. X

Yes! I’ve tried googling ideas and tried them all. I think I may have just felt something but I was driving and had the music on! So I’m not sure as wasn’t fully concentrating on it! It was definitely lighter than what I have been feeling if it was the baby. I’ll see what happens but I think for my own peace of mind I keep this appointment x
