I keep feeling 'popping' feelings where the baby would be.. only a couple times a day but it's the same feeling and I've been getting it for a couple weeks! Not sure if it's baby or just wind... 😂
What do the first few movements feel like?!

It felt like internal muscle twitches for me - like when you get one on your leg but deep inside where the uterus is. Nothing that could be described as butterflies or fluttering that others have

AnneLovesGilbert · 06/09/2019 17:34

I had an anterior placenta and if felt like swooshing on one side. Took ages to get proper kicks!

ChelseaCat · 06/09/2019 17:38

Mine definitely feels like popcorn!

mummytobe2020 · 06/09/2019 17:46

@maria94 I'm not sure mine are movements yet, but they feel like very slight internal taps / muscle twitches. It's as if something is tapping on the wall of my uterus. @HerSymphonyAndSong and others who have been through it, does that sound like little baby saying hello ?

maria94 · 06/09/2019 17:48

@ChelseaCat that's exactly what it feels like.. popcorn! I'm nearly 15 weeks so it's still super early which makes me doubt myself😬

Mine felt like bubbles or gas so wasn't sure to begin with.

Jingers5 · 06/09/2019 17:50

For me it felt like a butterfly in my tummy at first, very gentle movements :)

HerSymphonyAndSong · 06/09/2019 17:54

I had a posterior placenta and first felt things at 17 weeks I think

whatashitshow1 · 06/09/2019 17:57

It felt like a tiny fish flicking about inside my tummy. That was about 14 weeks. It started after lunchtime and gradually felt more strongly and for longer

EyeDrops · 06/09/2019 17:58

Mine felt like a tickle, sort of like gentle stroking from the inside. It took me weeks to decide it was definitely baby I was feeling!

LeslieYep · 06/09/2019 18:00

For me it felt like going over a small bridge in a car and your stomach dropping.
Only slightly, but a strange feeling when you're standing still!

ThePolishWombat · 06/09/2019 18:00

With all three of mine it’s felt like those bubbles you get in your belly when you’re trying to hold a fart in BlushGrin

Sexnotgender · 06/09/2019 18:02

Gas😂 little tiny fluttering bubbles.

BecauseItIz · 06/09/2019 18:09

Mine felt like little muscle twitches. It's amazing. I'm 6 weeks with number 4 and can't wait to feel baby. I was 15 weeks when I first felt no3.

lifesnotaspectatorsport · 06/09/2019 18:13

Sitting here at 19 weeks feeling little pops and nudges Smile

Cherry321 · 06/09/2019 18:21

Definitely like holding a fart in Grin

maria94 · 06/09/2019 18:26

Thanks everybody! I'm pretty certain it must be baby moving around after reading all of your responses ☺️ x

Internal farts.

Sheep90 · 06/09/2019 18:48

Like when you fart in the bath and a bubble tickles your butt cheeks Blush

Newyearsameoldshit · 06/09/2019 21:01

Like a muscle twitch for me.
Was busy looking for butterflies then cottoned on that it had been the baby bopping away for a while!

Gettingonabitnow · 07/09/2019 06:48

The best way I ever heard it described- prod the inside of your cheek with your tongue, it feels like that!

bobble53 · 07/09/2019 10:21

I described it as when your eye can sometimes twitch...but it’s in your tummy!

Fuiseog · 07/09/2019 19:19

I never felt the gentle butterfly or swooshing or fish feeling, but it did start as a feeling of pops or bubbles pushing up inside Smile

CalamityJune · 07/09/2019 19:24

Mine definitely felt like gas. Sometimes I get actual gas now and feel pregnant again!
