Day 3 double embryo transfer

Hi,

I had a double embryo transfer yesterday morning. One which had 4 cells which I know isn’t good but the other one which was 7 cells which I think is classed as normal but should it have been 8 cells? This is my second cycle of IVF and both rounds haven’t gone particularly well.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a 7 cell transferred on day 3 and it resulted in a pregnancy?

Many thanks,
Hannah

I can't remember whether mine was 7 or 9 but either way I know it wasnt the magic 8! My only embryo so they transferred on day 3 and now have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. Good luck!

I had a five day blastocyst, they didn't mention anything to do with cells but I know they didn't use my strongest embryo (this was my second round) and I'm now 35 weeks along with a little boy.

My strongest embryo didn't take on our first try

Good luck, I hope it works for you x

I had a day 5 hatching blastocyst transferred. They didn't mention the number of cells to me either. I am now 31+6 with a little boy.

I had an 8 cell and a 7 cell put back. Both were absolutely fine and are now cheeky 6 year olds x
