Help! Pain when I eat :(

A few days ago I started to get excruciating pain every time I took a bite of food in the left side of my jaw. I'm assuming it was the salivary gland. I've had this happen before but never this painful. I kept eating thinking it would go away after a while but it hasn't. Now every time I eat my gland gets swollen and painful although seems fine when I'm not eating.

What do I do??? Do I see my GP or wait it out as google seems to suggest?
I really don't want to take antibiotics in pregnancy and it's not super painful at the moment but a bit worrying :(

I would go to the doctor. Antibiotics are better than the infection for your baby.
I’ve had to have antibiotics a couple during my pregnancy and not had any problems.
