Hello. I just wanted to know if it's ok to sleep on your stomach during early pregnancy. I'm still very early - almost 7 weeks - and usually sleep on the tummy.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think it's fine. Baby is well cushioned behind your pelvis. I always think about how pregnant dogs lie on their stomachs and they've got like 10 of them in there.

I think it's ok all the time to lie on your tummy from my reading...I did until about 14 weeks, then it started getting sore to do it x

I've read it's fine until you can. I'm 13 weeks and a tummy sleeper. I've some fatty padding though.

It's fine, there will come a point when you won't be able to.

I'm 8 weeks and still sleeping on my stomach. I was told it's fine up until the 2nd trimester

Yes all good, make the most of it.
I’m now 33 weeks and have been able to since 16 weeks. Hardly sleep now, desperate to sleep on my tummy.

I'm 18 weeks and still sleeping in my tummy. I'll do it as long as possible!

Oh yes that's fine to sleep on your tummy when pregnant. I did until it became uncomfortable; your body will tell you when it's time to sleep on your side! Good luck, you'll be fine and make the most of tummy sleeping while you can Smile

I'm 29 and sleeping on my front kind of turned to the side a bit so big bump has room. It's fine.
