I bled for around 6 weeks at the start of my pregnancy. Nothing ever enough to fill a pad but still enough to make me anxious and worry

Had my 12 week scan last week and all was well, they were happy with everything. Today I've just been to the loo and (tmi sorry) when I wiped there was quite a large amount of pinky/red blood, almost consistency of discharge as well, but when I stood up there was also two really small clots in toilet as well.

Now I'm slightly freaking out - should I leave it and phone the hospital tomorrow if it gets worse? I feel since I've bled for 6 weeks of my pregnancy already it might just be something I'm going to have to deal with..

Hi! I think you should call the hospital today, this happened to me around 7 weeks and i got seen at EPU. I had a small tear inside which is where the blood was coming from, got given antibiotics to stop infection. I think its better to get checked than to leave it, my bleed was only small.. but still indicated something was wrong..not saying something is definitely wrong!! It could be nothing at all. Call up and see what they say xx

@navteexo when I bled for 6 weeks in my earlier pregnancy from 4 weeks onwards they never wanted to do anything for me at my EPU I phoned around 3 times so I kind of have gave up with them for now on the bleeding front. I had to pay for my own private scan at 8w - bleeding has stopped now the day after I wrote this so trying to take it easy!
