Hi, looking for some advice. I’m 20 weeks and now on my 3rd cold in about 5 months! I was prone to the odd sore throat and cold before pregnancy but it’s tricky when you have limited options for what you can take to help. I struggled through work the last couple of days but off sick today as feel completely floored with it. Anyone got any advice? I’m trying to eat as well as possible and keep active. Thanks x

Honey and lemon will help a sore throat or cough. Put some honey in the microwave for a couple of seconds, add lemon juice, stir like mad, check not too hot and drink warm from a teaspoon.

Buy a facial ateamer- good for congestion. In the interim, warm showers and inhale steam from hot water.

You can have paracetamol but use sparingly (potential link to infertility in offspring, I believe). Same with caffeine in coffee/chocolate.

By which I mean be sparing with caffeine, that's not linked to infertility.
