At the moment I'm taking a combined pregnancy tablet that contains folic acid, vitamin D, iron and ginger (which helps aid digestion apparently!)

Are there any additional vitamins/supplements you'd advise taking in the first trimester?

Stick to what your midwife says- which will be folic acid and vit D.

I wouldn't mess about with anything else. Even over the counter stuff can be dangerous and will usually have something on the packaging that it shouldn't be taken by pregnant women other than on medical advice.

same as above, except I also take vitamin c as I catch colds/virus' incredibly easily and had been taken them prior to conceiving. double check with a midwife though anything outside of folic acid x

Asda’s pregnancy vitamins with omega 3 are good, I’ve took them throughout my pregnancy 👍
