I’m 19 weeks and have still not felt anything at all. I really can’t help but worry. Is it normal still not to feel anything at this stage?
First pregnancy!

Perfectly normal Smile

Totally normal! You might have an anterior placenta or might have felt movement and dismissed it as something else - or not felt anything at all yet. All totally fine.
Keep an eye out for little bubbly nudges quite low down. That’s what I felt first. And almost a flip like I was going over a hill in a car.
My most recent baby had an anterior placenta and I didn’t feel her for aaaages. Way after when I felt my first. Probably about 21 ish weeks when I finally got a nudge.
It’s a lovely feeling Smile

Defo normal, I was around 21 weeks before I got any flutters x

Totally normal big congratulations x x

Thank you so much everyone, very reassuring. So many people ask me ‘have you had any flutters?’ It just worries me as most people say to me they did have by this point!

I didn't feel anything until 9:30 at night when I was laying down flat and that was 20+2 weeks, so don't worry 😊 xx

Totally normal. Plus for the first while it probably won't be obvious what they are/what they feel like.

strawbmilk · 03/09/2019 19:22

I'm on my second pregnancy so know what to expect. With baby no 1 I felt flutters by 17 weeks but with this one the placenta is at the front so I didn't feel anything until 22 weeks. The bonus being that my husband actually felt the movements when I did as they were strong when they did come. I don't think he felt no 1's movements until much later!

We had a gender scan two weeks ago so I know that my placenta is at the back as the sonographer told me! Hoping to feel something real soon and make me a bit less anxious!!
