I had my 20 week scan on Friday, when do I have to book my next midwife appointment for? This is my first baby. Thankyou!
Sorry this is all new to me! Grin

Dates/weeks for appointments should be in your notes. Mine were printed on the inside cover x

I make an appointment for the next time at the end of each previous appointment - around 4 weeks between them at this stage but will be more frequent at the end. Are the dates not in your notes?

You should Have a list but your midwife should have booked your 25 week appointment with you at your 16 week appointment.

If you haven't got one booked I'd call up and get it booked. My midwife is always really busy!

If your a first time mum schedule will roughly be

20 week - Scan
25 week appointment - get Mat1b form
28 weeks appointment - bloods taken to check iron levels
31 week appointment
34 week appointment
36 week appointment
38 week appointment
40 week appointment

If you go over 40 weeks depending on your risk factor etc the midwife might want to see you a couple of times to check on baby and you

Lovely thankyou all.
I've never been told by my midwife when to book my appointments for! I'll have a look in my notes when I get home and will get bookingSmile

How have you had any appointments since far then, if you've not been told to book them? NHS pregnancy info online is all very useful x

Mine are less frequent than the above (not my first baby) but the midwife makes the next appointment when I'm there. I'd give yours a call.
