Hi all. So I'm due my first in May of next year. I only found out I was pregnant on Saturday. My husband is great but I have no friends at this stage they either have grown up kids or arent planning to any time soon
I have two sisters. One with grown up kids who she doesn't see and one who's getting married soon so is in her own little bubble.

I would just like someone to talk about all of this as I'm really anxious about the next 9 months.

Thanks for reading :)

Thank you everyone for all the lovely messages about my scan! My husband is convinced it's a girl but I dreamt last night it was another boy, it's so exciting I can't wait to find out either way ☺️💗 So glad I booked an early scan and if I'm lucky enough to have any more in the future o will definitely do the same! I said it a while ago but if anyone is going to independent companies for your scan as we asked for a bundle for gender, early scan and 3D late scan and it's such a good deal!

Good luck to everyone with scans and appointments today 💗

Hollyjeanh · 02/10/2019 08:02

What an amazing scan result! I’m still waiting until Friday for mine! Bleeding hasn’t shown its ugly head for two days now yay!! Fingers crossed for everyone waiting for scans too! I’ve only had mild nausea I’m 6+5

Sunshine8888 · 02/10/2019 08:10

@danielasummer I drank about a litre 30 mins before the app and that was fine, could see pretty clearly. Good luck to those having scans today 😊

woollycat · 02/10/2019 08:16

Congrats on all the scan results guys!!

I am 6w + 3d and really struggling with nausea :( I have taken the week off work with a doctor's note and feel terrible all day. I throw up once usually in the morning, and then just feel crap all day. Yesterday I was really struggling to eat anything. Any advice?

ChampooPapi · 02/10/2019 08:24

@facevalue it's just my booking in appointment, no need to scan to the 12 weeks here thankfully. It'll be all paperwork, joys

Herewego2020 · 02/10/2019 08:26

Congrats on all the scans 💫💫 I have my 12 week on 1st November. I am feeling so shite and miserable. I'm so bloated I look 5 months pregnant!!!! Soon as I swallow I balloon lol. My sister keeps scaring oh saying its twins as my sister has twins and my aunt is a twin so we have a twin thing BUT I dont think so. OH is not amused at idea of twins he keeps saying "don't be silly there is only one in there" 😂! any tips for bloating... it's really uncomfortable.

ChampooPapi · 02/10/2019 08:29

@woollycat just do what you can to get through it and don't make any plans for a few weeks. 6 weeks untill about 8 just really seems the worst for most people, unless they dont suffer obviously.

Just keep eating!

facevalue · 02/10/2019 08:37

@danielasummer i usually drink 2-3 glasses of water an hour before. all the best x hope it goes well.

RachelC90 · 02/10/2019 09:16

I'm due may 31st 2020
This will be my 3rd baby.
I have a boy aged 8 and a girl aged 5.
So it's been a little while since I done this.
Forgot how bad the morning sickness can be although I thinks its defo worse this time than with my other 2.

CharlieB93 · 02/10/2019 09:20

I’m 8+1 and I’ve woke up this morning feeling..fine. Like it was all a dream! No sickness nothing, I’m freaking out has anyone else experienced this?

Mystie · 02/10/2019 09:28

@CharlieB93 I woke up feeling exactly the same which is worrying when I've been bleeding for 6 days. But I'm trying to stay positive as I know those pesky hormones come in fits and starts and no one day is like another. Took advantage of the energy and went to the gym, feeling better for it and the sun is shining. Have a good day ladies 😎

Mystie · 02/10/2019 09:31

@woollycat snap I'm 6w and 3d too! Sorry you're feeling unwell, have you tried ginger biscuits?

CharlieB93 · 02/10/2019 09:36

@Mystie sorry to hear you’re having a rubbish time. I’ve been reading your posts and I’ve got to say you’re dealing with everything so well, I’ve got everything crossed for you. One of my friends had constant bleeding throughout her pregnancy and was always in the doctors, her daughter is 5 next month 😊 sending hugs xx

Mystie · 02/10/2019 09:48

@CharlieB93 thank you 😊

Moonstone12 · 02/10/2019 09:51

@CharlieB93 I have good days and bad days now. Yesterday no sickness at all. Sunday I hardly left the bed I was so sick! So fluctuates which is normal. I'm 9+5 now so hoping it starts to ease off as the placenta takes over during the next few weeks :)

CharlieB93 · 02/10/2019 09:58

@Moonstone12 thank you, I was really worried this morning lay in bed waiting for it to start. Normally driving to work I have a handy carrier bag to stop be vomming on my work trousers 😂💅

Moonstone12 · 02/10/2019 10:00

I worried last week when I felt well @CharlieB93 then when 2 days later I was dying again I decided to never worry if I felt well for a day or two again and just enjoy the freedom of eating lol xx

danielasummer · 02/10/2019 10:03

@november90 @facevalue @Sunshine8888 thank you so much for your advice ladies. Honestly nervous because I can imagine I'll be desperate for the loo!! Also just bricking it, imagining the worst.. hope you're all doing ok xx

sazzlerazzle · 02/10/2019 10:07

@CharlieB93 yes I get this all the time! Like @zoemelb just said to me - we should consider ourselves lucky it’s not always really bad. I’m trying to not let it worry me.... the nausea has come back with a vengeance today and I’m sorry I ever doubted it now 😂

Welcome @RachelC90 and congratulations! I hope your little ones will be excited about their new little brother or sister 😊

Helensss · 02/10/2019 10:16

@CharlieB93 yep I get this all the time! I am 8 wk 5 and I’ll feel awful for a few days, bed by 8pm and wanting to nap on the floor at work or throw up! Then I’ll wake up full of energy,
Less sore boobs, no sickness and can even think about going for a run?! I panic every time but my symptoms seem to come back, so try and enjoy it I guess! Xx

CharlieB93 · 02/10/2019 10:20

Thanks for reassuring me guys! I’m out with the girls tonight for some food and I’m so excited about eating 😂 ill just enjoy it whilst it lasts !

Helensss · 02/10/2019 10:21
