Hi all. So I'm due my first in May of next year. I only found out I was pregnant on Saturday. My husband is great but I have no friends at this stage they either have grown up kids or arent planning to any time soon
I have two sisters. One with grown up kids who she doesn't see and one who's getting married soon so is in her own little bubble.

I would just like someone to talk about all of this as I'm really anxious about the next 9 months.

Thanks for reading :)

@Mystie how are you going today? Hope your bleeding has stopped. Almost all of my pregnancy symptoms are gone - boobs barely hurt, I felt normal when I woke up this morning (last week I just couldn't get out of bed in the morning), and I didn't have snack during the night, a bit of heartburn but no nausea. I have a lightest pink discharge this morning when wiping, but it seems to stop. Confused Try to make ourselves feel better today, we go out with the dogs later today for couple hours, just for lunch and a bit of a drive.

zoemelb · 28/09/2019 09:30

@Mystie I did a pregnancy test again this morning, and it's still 3+ week, it's silly but it does make myself feel a bit better.

Mystie · 28/09/2019 09:44

@zoemelb hey lovely, well I feel like I'm on the biggest emotional rollercoaster ever. Woke up to no bleeding and felt optimistic then an hour later it's started again. No pain but just feel so drained from it all and still another 9 days until my second scan. Glad you had a positive 3+ test today, I might try and do the same although feel so over it all now I'm going to think the worst and then anything different will be a bonus. We'll be out walking the dogs as well today, what breed are yours? We've got a border and a sharpei. Also got my OH's parents driving over for lunch which will be nice, they know so at least I can be honest with them about how I'm feeling. Hope you have a good day xx

@Herewego2020 hahaha you crack me up. i share the crime solving netflix commitment but not the golden showers lol

@Clairesoph oh dear. i also feel my symptoms are worst this time! and i'm only 7 weeks!

@sazzlerazzle haha i had my first baby aged 38 and i'm pregnant now aged 40! they call us geriatric mums but C'mon it's 2019 Janet Jackson had her first aged 50! the beauty of advanced science 😍

facevalue · 28/09/2019 09:50

@Mystie that's so so stressful. i think you are so brave to still be out and about. i would be floored so don't be to hard on yourself.. i really hope your scan is reassuring. i'm so paranoid i'm avoiding all strenuous activities and even lifting simple shopping. i know it won't stop anything bad happening but i can't help it.

Wishful30 · 28/09/2019 09:53

@Mystie and @zoemelb
I've been having (sorry tmi) brown discharge for almost a week now. I think it's gonna stop, but nope 🙄 it's had some pink tinge to it.
I keep thinking the worst after mc in November so have been testing every day 🤦🏻‍♀️
It's probably a bit obsessive but as long as it's a strong positive I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
5.0w today 🤞🏻

Mystie · 28/09/2019 09:57

@facevalue thanks for your kind message, it is so reassuring having lovely ladies like yourself for support at what is such a stressful time. Fingers crossed for all of us x

Mystie · 28/09/2019 09:58

@Wishful30 it is so stressful!!! Thank goodness for this group and all the words of support and encouragement. Try not to stress too much, you are not alone and brown discharge can be absolutely normal x

facevalue · 28/09/2019 09:59

@olivesandpecans i'm definitely the same - suffering with disturbed sleep .. i'm shattered and fall asleep in the sofa before 10 then wake up between 3-5am with either a headache or discomfort of some sort.

i took my 2 year old for a check up and ended up being given the flu jab myself ( thought i should remind you all it's time to get the jab because we r pregnant) ..

flossy12 · 28/09/2019 11:40

Tiny but there is our Peanut 💞 measuring 1.8cm so 6+5 just as I thought 😆 I guessed she would put me at 6+6 so I was close 😅 heard the little heart beat and she said everything looks perfect 😍

Shelbustotherescue · 28/09/2019 12:15

@flossy12 wow that's such a good picture and a large measurement ! Mine was 9mm at 7+1 ! I'm surprised they didn't put you as further along ! Congratulations !

november90 · 28/09/2019 12:35

Sorry if this is a bit grim girls, but is anyone else experiencing quite a bit of an upset tummy... toilet wise! I do have a sensitive tummy anyway.. but this past week it's been quite bad! I think it's because of all the crap I'm eating as normally I'm so healthy and don't eat much rubbish but my food cravings/sickness has really messed me around! I'm just getting quite fed up of it. Ow :(
It's def not a tummy bug and no blood or anything...

Wishful30 · 28/09/2019 12:59

Awww @flossy12 that's just perfect xx

Sunshine8888 · 28/09/2019 13:02

facevalue · 28/09/2019 13:37

@flossy12 @Sunshine8888 awww love the pics xxx

Wishful30 · 28/09/2019 14:32

Uh oh... I've got got stringy bits in my brown discharge 😑 sorry again for tmi!

november90 · 28/09/2019 14:35

Does anyone else feel like they've just gone off food? Don't get me wrong, I'm eating loads, but I'm not excited about anything! Before pregnancy I ate so healthy but was a sucker for ice cream and chocolate too but now nothing makes me excited and the thought of anything I ate before makes me feel ill! I don't know where to even start with meals anymore!
I could eat some cookie crisp cereal but that's about it 😂

sazzlerazzle · 28/09/2019 15:42

@tiredmoma Thanks, I think I’m just being really impatient! It’s such a long wait isn’t it and so hard not telling anyone. I haven’t even told my mum yet! I’m not even booked for a scan yet but I’ll feel better when I know I’ve got this to look forward to. Honestly there are days where I don’t feel sick and of course I don’t look pregnant yet so I just think.... am I actually still pregnant??

@facevalue haha yes so true! I don’t feel old and I’m fit and healthy, but some things you read really make you feel like you’re past it don’t they??

Clairesoph · 28/09/2019 15:43

@november90 Im also off food, we are going for dinner tonight (first time since the other baby was born haha) and Im not even excited, normally ive looked up the menu and decided what im having but at the minute I cant think about food or I might hurl. The nausea is really taking over at the mo 😅

Clairesoph · 28/09/2019 15:45

@Sunshine8888 that is such a clear scan at 9 weeks, how amazing!!! I cant wait for my first scan 😩

Sunshine8888 · 28/09/2019 16:08

Thank you!

@flossy12 - Glad all went well at your can too 😊 but are you sure crl was 18mm? That’s more like 8 weeks. X

KerryM1983 · 28/09/2019 16:29

How much fluid is everyone managing to drink? Struggling to even drink it a litre.

tiredmoma · 28/09/2019 16:39

@sazzlerazzle this deffo is the longest and hardest bit (until your overdue!) with my first i didnt believe it until i had my scan even then i was waiting on being told there had been a mistake think im the same this time too as it hasn't seemed to have sunk in yet
